It is my belief that although plastics and other artificial materials are useful and integral in society, they are hugely over-deployed and underpin much that is wrong with the world. After frustrating experiences in sourcing fibres for making I began F&T. As the little project grows I hope to provide reliable and high-quality fibres and threads to those who need them!

Based in the beautiful county of Carmarthenshire in south Wales, fibres&thread is a small business seeking relationships with producers of natural fibres, threads and other products which are beautiful and useful.

Household objects should not last thousands of years after they have been worn out through daily use, to be pondered over by future generations.
