hurl broomcorn

Description

Bundles of 250g, 500g and 1kg. The hurl is available in three lengths.

Processed broomcorn, also known as ‘hurl’ is trimmed to various lengths and does not come with the stalk.

It has a pale green/straw colour and is natural and renewable. Most is grown in eastern Europe or Mexico. We get our broomcorn from Mexico.

The long fibres can be bundled together to create brooms for sweeping, cleaning, decoration, magic, and many other purposes. Broomcorn fibres are valued for their durability

In addition to brooms, broomcorn has been used in crafts, such as decorative wreaths and baskets. The unique appearance of the bushy seed heads adds an attractive element to these creations.
